He has worked as Anchorperson at leading news channels of Pakistan including Hum News. He was previously associated with Roze News and hosted the only youth related talk show in Pakistan, 'Hum Jawan' and the prime time current affairs program Sachi Baat. He has also worked as a Program Host at state TV channel PTV Home and PTV News

Journalist of the Year 2019

Makhdoom Shahab-ud-Din won the “Journalist of the Year 2019” award in the Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights category. He was awarded for his story “Child Pornography in Pakistan: Reality or myth?” which was published in Daily Times. He was honored with Pakistan’s prestigious and most-sought after journalism recognition, the AGAHI Award.

He is one of the leading digital media journalists of Pakistan, and is working on reviving the media industry in the country by using social media effectively. He has over 2 million social media followers and has an average weekly reach of over 50 million. He is famous for his vlogs on YouTube anc Facebook.

He has appeared as a keynote speaker on various TV Channels across India,  Pakistan, Turkey and Russia, Azerbaijan and Europe. He has served as a keynote speaker and trainer at a number of national and international conferences and workshops including the prestigious TEDx forum twice. He is also the recipient of the Best Speaker of Pakistan Award by the President of Pakistan H.E. Mamnoon Hussain. He also conducted a training on digital media at International Media Camp 2019 in Samsun, Turkey organized by OIC Youth Forum.
